Bruma takes Ronaldo’s no 7 shirt as Portugal beat Sweden

Portugal forward, Bruma, became the first player not named Cristiano Ronaldo to wear the iconic no.7 shirt for his country since 2007.
Bruma was allowed to wear it, as Ronaldo was not available for their 5-2 win over Sweden in an international friendly.
He started the match on the bench but was brought on in the second half by manager Roberto Martinez.

Bruma made the most of his few minutes on the pitch by scoring Portugal’s fourth goal after Bruno Fernandes’ superb assist.
It was a special night for Bruma as he took to the field with the No.7 on his back.
Just like Ronaldo, the winger grew up at Sporting and has always looked up to the Al-Nassr superstar for inspiration.
However, Bruma might have to settle with his usual No. 17 as Ronaldo is expected to return to the fold against Slovenia on Tuesday.
