Obi elated as Heartland end winless streak

Heartland technical adviser, Christian Obi has expressed his delight after the Naze Millionaires picked their first win in the Nigeria Premier Football League under his tutelage.
The Owerri club ended their 17-game winless streak under Obi, with a 2-0 victory over oriental rival, Abia Warriors on Wednesday.
Obi said the target of the team now is to improve their position on the table.

“God Almighty has done it, the jinx has been broken,” he said in a post-match interview.
“I’m excited and I want to thank everybody that offered their support which is very important.
“We are climbing the ladder, climbing the ladder requires doing so one after the other.”
Heartland remains in 19th position on the table despite the win.
